Project: Empulse League Creator Program & Community Growth:

Project Overview

Empulse League is a competitive gaming community that brings together players, creators, and audiences through tournaments, creator opportunities, and community-focused experiences.

My role supported both the public-facing brand and the league’s internal community operations. I created and managed the Empulse League Creator Program, helped manage the official Discord, created promotional graphics, supported creator communications, and contributed to tournament operations, promotion and community engagement.

 

The Challenge

As a growing gaming league, Empulse needed a more organized system for recruiting creators, communicating expectations, promoting tournaments, and keeping its digital platforms consistent and up to date.

The organization needed more than individual graphics or announcements. It needed a connected structure that could support creator participation, community communication, website management, and long-term growth.

 

Project Objectives

The primary goals of this work were to:

• Create and manage a structured creator program

• Recruit and support participating creators

• Maintain clear social media requirements and communication

• Strengthen engagement within the official Discord

• Create professional graphics for tournaments, creators, and community announcements

• Support a consistent and recognizable digital brand

My Role

Creator Program Development

I created the Empulse League Creator Program and developed the structure used to recruit, organize, and communicate with participating creators.

My responsibilities include reviewing potential creators, supporting onboarding, communicating announcements, maintaining social media participation requirements, answering questions, encouraging involvement, and helping the program continue to grow.

Community Management

I helped manage the official Empulse League Discord and support communication between players, creators, staff, and community members.

This includes sharing important updates, answering questions, supporting tournament communication, encouraging participation, and helping maintain an organized and welcoming community environment.

Graphic Design & Content Support

I created branded visual materials that support tournament promotion, creator recognition, community communication, and the overall Empulse League identity.

These materials include tournament flyers, player graphics, prize announcements, creator program assets, social media graphics, Discord announcements, and other promotional content.

Strategy

My approach focused on connecting the creator program, Discord community, website, and promotional content into one consistent digital experience.

Rather than treating each platform separately, I used them together to guide the audience through a clear journey:

I also developed a more repeatable structure for creator recruitment and communication so the program could continue growing without relying on disconnected messages or inconsistent expectations.
